The protective barrier is a foldable metal mesh box consisting of welded gabion mesh and geotextile, primarily used to protect military and industrial facilities. Its main function is to create a temporary protective structure by filling it with materials such as sand, stones, and others. This effectively limits the destructive radius of explosion blast waves, minimizing casualties and material damage.
Manufactured from high-carbon or low-carbon steel wire (Q195/Q235), it features a mesh opening of 76.2 × 76.2 mm and is treated with hot-dip galvanizing, electroplating, or Galfan coating, ensuring high strength, corrosion resistance, and weather resistance. The foldable packaging facilitates transportation and enables rapid deployment and dismantling.
The barrier can be filled with sand, stones, or gravel, making it especially suitable for stone-deficient areas. Length ranges from 1.06 m to 30.5 m, height from 0.61 m to 3.3 m (Note: adjusted based on common specs), available in beige and army green. Suitable for military bases, combat shelters, hazardous zone separation in industrial facilities, flood protection dam reinforcement, river management, and coastal protection.
